STEPS TO ADMISSION

Application

  1. New students complete the Application for Admission form and submit it to the admission office with a non-refundable $15 application fee.
  2. An online application form is available at Northportlandbiblecollege.org to print and bring to the admission office with you.
  3. Returning students do not need to complete a new application or pay the application fee, but should update their contact information with the admission office.

Reading/Writing Placement Test

  1. All students will be required to take a reading/writing placement test in order to determine their skill level in reading and writing.
  2. Information about testing may be obtained from the admission office – 503-288-2919.
  3.  Under certain conditions, you may be granted a test waiver.
  4. Test results older than five years may not be valid. 

High School Diploma or GED

  1. High school diploma or GED is required for admission.
  2. Copy of you diploma or GED can be obtained from your high school or the issuing agency

Transfer of College Credits

  1. An “official” copy of your college transcript must be sent directly to North Portland Bible College by school (s) attended. 

Student Advising

  1. Make an appointment with the student advisor to plan your program, course schedule, and to answer your questions.
  2. Bring your placement test results and any unofficial college transcripts that you have.

Register for Classes

  1. Complete a registration card for each class
  2. Pay tuition and/or make financial arrangement
  3. A fee of $10 will be charged for late enrollment after the second week of class
  4. Purchase textbooks online or use other resources
