Portland Bible College

imageNPBC is a community-based, interdenominational, evangelical school with classes offered primarily in the evenings to accommodate employed students. It has both an associate degree and certificate programs. The board, faculty and student body at NPBC are multiethnic and multi-denominational. Course content often provides a foundation for racial and religious conciliation and positive cross-cultural relationships.

NPBC is a member of CUME/NW (Coalition for Urban Ministry and Education/Northwest), a cooperative effort of Bible colleges and seminaries in Portland, to provide training for effective ministry to the city. CUME assists in providing a clear path for NPBC students to acquire further training. Since fall 1996, NPBC has been qualified to grant an Associate in Christian Ministry (ACM) degree.
